During the 1900´s millions of Japanese immigrated to South America. Sao Paulo was the first choice for many of the people that immigrated, with over 1 million calling Sao Paulo their new home. The influx of “new” Brazilians found their way to an area in Sao Paulo called Liberdade and this is where Brazilian and Japanese fusion was born.
At Liberdade we have taken inspiration from this fusion of cultures with a focus on the best raw ingredients and turned it into a culinary journey to Brazil.
Liberdade is separated into two different sections, a cocktail bar and restaurant. Our bar will have a smaller menu called “small bites” and a fantastic cocktail list with a fusion between the two different cultures. In Liberdade bar we have tried to create an outside feeling inside with our signature Brazilian stairs, wood details and a jungle feeling.
Our restaurant is where you can experience the whole menu from small bites to our sharing plates. We have designed our restaurant interior to have a warm elegant feeling from the design on the ceiling to the rusty red wine walls. We have capacity for around 60 dining guests with chamber séparée which can accommodate 8 guests for a more private dining experience.
At Liberdade we have a focus on being as environmentally friendly as possible.
